The Long Beach Historical Society invites all firemen and their families to an

Open House at the Historical Museum

in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Volunteer Fire Department. 

An historical exhibit honoring the firefighters throughout Long Beach's history 
is on view and refreshments will be served from
Noon to 4 pm and from 6 to 9 pm.

Wednesday, August 11

The Long Beach Historical & Preservation Society will hold an evening reception
to announce the publication of

"Long Beach", a history of the City-by-the-Sea

told in pictures and text.. Meet the authors, book-signing, and refreshments from

7 to 9:pm at the Long Beach Historical Museum 226 West Penn Street.

LB Historical Society Arts & Crafts Fair on the Boardwalk

Riverside Boulevard  9am to 6 pm.
More than 150 vendors display clothing, jewelry, art pieces, candles, pottery and clothing plus a great variety of ethnic and regional American-style food and beverages.
